Immunefi is the leading bug bounty platform in DeFi; their job is to provide a platform where projects and hackers can collaborate with the common goal of increasing the security of tested smart contracts. Immunefi has already distributed more than 65 million $ in bounty and an estimated 25 billion $ of hacks have been prevented thanks to their work.
What is a Bug Bounty Program?
A bug bounty program is an agreement between the developers of a dapps and a community of hackers who are offered a monetary reward if they report bugs within the smart contracts under analysis. Rewards vary according to the extent of the bug discovered, which can range from low risk level to critical risk level.
The logic is simple: hackers are attracted by the bounty made available by the team and they will try by all means to breach our smart contracts to obtain these rewards.
The partnership with Metalswap!
After completing the audit with Certik (the most important player in this sector), the team decided that this was not enough and therefore, the partnership with Immunefi will help Metalswap achieve a higher level of security. The program will start on 03 feb 2023 and the rewards for those who manage to report bugs within the smart contracts will be very interesting.
A total of $50k can be obtained in Rewards: finding a "critical" flagged bug for 20k, 5k for a "high" one.
